Our motel offers guests a variety of accommodation options while you are staying or working in Masterton. We have 16 studio, one and two-bedroom motel units and also a separate 10-bedroom backpackers lodge - all located just 900m from the town centre.

We welcome holiday makers, sports groups, corporate travellers and contractors to our complex. We are located in a quiet residential area, away from the busy main roads, with off-street parking available.

Be it for business or leisure, we have accommodation to suit all needs, and an excellent range of facilities ready to welcome you. We have free wireless internet available, laundry facilities, breakfast and quality home-cooked meals by arrangement.

Masterton is centrally located in the Wairarapa, within easy driving distances to Wellington, Palmerston North, Dannevirke and the Hawkes Bay.

COVID Bookings Policy

COVID-19: BACKPACKERS
From 3rd December 2021 ALL BACKPACKER GUESTS will be required to show their Covid-19 Vaccine Passport for each member of their party at Check-In (Photo ID may be requested). Anyone who is not able to produce a valid Vaccine Pass will NOT be permitted to stay.

Motel Accommodation
From 3rd December 2021 it is our preference that all guests are fully vaccinated and hold a My Vaccine Pass, have a valid exemption or be under the age of 12 to visit our Motel.

Currently we may take some bookings from unvaccinated guests. We will be reviewing this policy regularly. Guests must advise us if they are not fully vaccinated. Any guest that is unvaccinated will:

• Not be offered any daily servicing to their room
• Cannot use any of the communal or shared facilities
• MUST wear a mask when they are outside of their own unit

If guests are not prepared to respect these requirements they will be asked to leave our facility.
It is preferred that these bookings are done directly over the phone and not via a Booking channel.

Additional conditions of entry to the motel are as follows:

• That you are not in self-isolation or quarantine, or awaiting Covid-19 test results.
• That you have not been in close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case, or someone in self-isolation or awaiting Covid-19 test results.
• That you do not have any cold or flu-like symptoms, such as fever, coughing or sneezing, difficulty breathing, sore throat and fatigue.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer Emergency or Social Housing at our motel or backpackers.
